We really love being able to gather aligned community groups, local initatives and members on the land. With open meadows, diverse woodland, a rustic roundhouse and wood-fired sauna beside a tree-lined stream, it is a very special venue for a whole range of events, courses, gatherings & ceremonies.
We'd love to support you in bringing your event to Pondfield.
As a member-run venue, to use the space at Pondfield we require at least one person on the booking to be/become a member of The Living Projects, and for that person to take full responsibility for any person visiting Pondfield under their invitation. This involves ensuring all participants use the space respectfully, maintaining all agreements in the terms/induction and attaining the relevant insurance for any extra activities you perform at Pondfield, not already covered by us.

To book your event at Pondfield, contact us below to check availability for your preferred dates and we'll go from there. See below for costs of hiring the space.
Donation
In return for using the space at Pondfield we ask for a donation to be made direct to the project account. This money is then used for the running and improving of Pondfield and the wider project ‘The Living Projects’.
We advise on how much to give using this formula:

£10 per hour for: A paid event with less than 15 people, a ‘by donation’/freely given event, or a private event for friends and family only. (minimum of 3 hours)

£15 per hour for any paid events over 15 people. (minimum of 3 hours)
Optional add ons

£10 per basket of wood ( typically one basket is enough for a 3 hour session with fire. If you are booking for a whole evening session, two baskets will be sufficient)

£50 To add the use of our ‘Dragonwood’ mobile sauna to your event. (wood included)
Whole day / evening

If you book the site for a whole day event (9am-5pm) or a whole evening event (5pm-midnight), the rate will be capped at 5 hours. Enjoy using the land after 5 hours with no expectation of any further contributions.
Making a Payment / Cancellation
When making a payment to TLP (TheLivingProjects) please include the date of your event in the payment reference and send a confirmation email to pondfield.tlp@gmail.com once you have paid. This will ensure your booking is reserved.
If you need to cancel please do this within 2 weeks notice of your event date for a full refund.
In the event of a last minute cancellation we will refund 75% of the booking cost.
Induction / instructions
In order to use the space for the first time you must receive an induction from a member of The Living Projects core team. Please let us know if it is the first time you are using the space so we can arrange for your induction.
When using Pondfield for your event you will be expected to let yourself in and lock up at the end. A code for the gate will be given once your booking is made along with more detailed information about using the space.
